Bring the architecture into view

Use Fit architecture when you have panned away from the diagram or cannot find a recently added resource. Zoom changes how much detail is visible; it does not delete resources or change their configuration. At wider zoom levels, Region, VPC, availability-zone, and subnet boundaries may use a more compact presentation. Zoom in and select the relevant area before treating an abbreviated view as missing architecture.

Make the layout easier to read

1. Fit the architecture to establish where the major groups are.
2. Zoom into the part you are working on.
3. Move resource cards to make relationships clearer.
4. Use the available arrangement controls when a larger layout needs organizing.
5. Review the resulting view before sharing a diagram.

Canvas positioning is presentation. Changing card positions does not by itself change generated infrastructure addresses or service semantics.

Work on a smaller screen

Use catalog Add actions and explicit controls instead of relying on narrow drag targets. Expand a card when you need detail, and open Configure for fields that do not appear on the compact card. Browser zoom and canvas zoom are separate controls; record both if a layout issue appears only at one scale.

Report a display issue

Include the browser, viewport size, canvas zoom, and whether Fit architecture reveals the resource. A screenshot of the whole affected boundary is usually more useful than a close crop with no surrounding context.
