Check a slow or interrupted background operation
Understand an uncertain outcome before starting another generation or export.
Identify the operation
Determine whether you were creating a project, generating an AI proposal, importing a repository, or building an export. Record its identifier and visible status. A loading indicator in your browser does not necessarily represent the final server outcome.
Check before retrying
- Keep the existing operation page open when possible.
- Record any error and the time it appeared.
- Check your connection and whether the application asks you to sign in again.
- Reopen the existing operation from the project when that option is available.
- Use a same-operation retry or explicit recovery action offered by the screen.
Do not start several identical requests just to see which one finishes. That can create separate work and make usage or result comparisons harder.
Distinguish waiting from failure
A completed operation may still have warnings or findings that need review. A failed operation may have useful partial evidence. Read the status and explanation together before deciding that a result is ready to apply or download.
Escalate an unclear result
Include the workflow stage, organization, project, operation identifier, start time, last visible status, and any request identifier. Say whether you closed or refreshed the tab and whether the same operation later appeared in the project. For AI usage questions, preserve the estimate and receipt as well.
